Steve's ties to the military community are strong, created from his own military career spanning over 23 yrs.   Steve is a retired Master Chief Aviation Boatswain's Mate.  He retired off the USS Theodore Roosevelt, here in Norfolk Virginia, in March of 1995.   The same year that Steve retired, his eldest daughter, Amy, began her military career as a midshipman at the United States Naval Academy.  Steve went from being the active duty Master Chief, to the new role of Navy Dad.  Now Amy, that is LCDR (sel) Doll, USNA Class of 1999, is a key member of her father's team.  Together, they combine their knowledge and skills to help military families relocating to this area.  It's a win-win combination.   Father and daughter, Retired and Active Duty Reservist... You can't beat this duo.  Steve's wife, Donna, works behind the scenes, or more correctly; "behind the camera."  She handles all the photography, creates the marekting materials, the internet advertising, and oversees the team's multiple websites.  This family has joined together their efforts in order to provide the best possible service for their clients.

Steve is the father of three grown daughters. Yes, for many years he actually lived in a house with four women. The girls used to tease their Dad and say that he really needed the six month Navy deployments in order to have some male bonding time.  Steve has been happily married to his wife, Donna, for thirty-four years.  In addition to their three daughters, they also have three young grandsons.  When he's not helping buyers find houses, then he enjoys cooking for the family (they call him the "Grill Master"), summer boating on the Chesapeake Bay, fall deer hunting, or taking his grandsons out on his four-wheeler.
